Miranda Lychak, President High Grade Enterprises Ltd./Lychak Oil Co Ltd. Owner

BIO: Growing up on a farm south of town, Vermilion has always been my home.  My husband Warren and I have one son Wyatt and are kept very busy raising a family and farming while owning and operating High Grade Enterprises Ltd. and Lychak Oil Co Ltd. I love spending time with family and friends whether it be camping or get togethers. Music, cooking and travelling are some of my favourite pastimes.

Why is your business a member?

Our small town and our local area is supported by businesses and I wanted my businesses to be apart of that by contributing and to help our community increase and heighten. I hope as members join this will only happen more and more.

Why did you become a member of the chamber board?

To gain knowledge and experience of our chamber members and to help businesses succeed and strive to be the best that they can. We have a great community that is supported immensely by our small town businesses.  I am a very social person so being on the Chamber Board is great way to combine my passion for my businesses and my social personality. I love being able to give back and help such a great community with other Business Members.

Why is your business a member of the Chamber?

A chamber helps bring businesses together and business to the town. By working together, our community can grow and thrive. I believe the chamber has the ability to transform the community and build Vermilion strong. By being a chamber member, I have an influence on decisions being made that affect my business and the community I live, work, and play in.

Why did you become a member of the Chamber Board?

I know that change doesn’t happen by sitting back or complaining. As a new business owner, I wanted to do my part to improve our chamber and the services it provides our community. I encourage all business owners to get involved in the chamber either as members or joining the board.

Aaron Knopp, Director Cornerstone Coop

Why is your business a Chamber member? The Chamber is around to provide support for local business and Cornerstone Co-ops Purpose statement is “Making Lives Better in Our Communities”. I believe these align as a vibrant business sector also makes lives better in our community!

Why did you become a member of the Chamber Board? There are a few reasons but the biggest are that it is a way to give back to the community.
